Credits for Student Productions

Overview

Students are expected to credit all individuals who participated in their production. This includes all cast and crew members. It is also recommended to give Special Thanks to any parties who provide critical materials, services, or just helpful advice that enabled you to complete your project.

Students are required to credit the UCF Film Program and the Nicholson School of Communication and Media for providing support for their creative project. This credit shall be accomplished in two ways:

Head Logo

Students shall place the clip of the animated UCF Film logo at the head of their composition. The animated logo is a (.MOV) ProRes video file that has a black background with white text. It shall not be altered in anyway.

End Credit

Students shall place the Nicholson School of Communication and Media logo as part of their end credit sequence. It shall be displayed on screen for a minimum of 4 seconds. It can be incorporated into an existing title card or credit scroll. It is not required to be a stand-a-lone title card.

Directly above the logo shall include the following text element:

Support for this Project was Provided by the Film Program at the University of Central Florida

The text element can be in the font and color of your choosing. Students shall not alter the logo in any way.
