FIL 2552C – Editing I
Overview
As a student enrolled in FIL 2552C – Editing I you multiple levels of resources available to use. In addition to specific production equipment designated for use in this course, students enrolled in Sound Design I maintain access to general assignment media equipment and media labs outlined in the Undergraduate Resources article.
Policy Requirements
Students are required to complete the Film Student Policy Form before they can checkout equipment or use facility spaces. This form only has to completed once each semester to cover all courses.
Facility Access
NSCM Media Labs – NSC-211A and 211B, and the NSCM Production Lab – NSC-143 are available for open labs. Enrolled students can electronically access these labs using their UCF ID cards when classes are not being held in theses spaces. Students can also use their UCF ID card to access the NSCM building when it is locked.
Please use the Activity Calendars located on the NSCM Media Lab and Production Lab resource pages to help determine when these spaces are available for open and assisted lab hours.
Network Storage
Media files to support skills course work are available to students at program-supported macOS workstations within the FMM Media Labs NSC-211A & 211B. Instructions on how to access our Media Network Storage can be found in the dedicated support article.
