Overview
Upon return, users are required to declare if they have lost or damaged an item. Damaged items should be clearly marked using tape or separated from the kit to make identification easier for staff.

Users may be expected to replace lost or damaged items, pay for the repair, or pay the insurance deductible in the event an insurance claim needs to be filed.
Items lost by negligence or a lack of due diligence may not be covered by the school’s insurance.
Users have two weeks to locate a lost item before they are formally charged for a replacement of equal value.
Stolen Items
If equipment has been stolen, a police report with the appropriate law enforcement agency must be filed. The Coordinator of Film Production Services must be notified within 24 hours after a theft has occurred.
Equipment stolen from a vehicle may not be covered by insurance.
